There are many ways to dry wood. According to the way the moisture is discharged from the wood, it is divided into three types: thermal drying, mechanical drying and chemical drying.
Thermal drying is a method of destroying the binding force between water molecules and wood through molecular vibration, so that water molecules are discharged from the wood by evaporation or boiling;
Mechanical drying is a method of removing moisture from wood through centrifugal force or pressing;
Chemical drying is a method of using highly absorbent chemicals (such as sodium chloride, etc.) to absorb moisture in wood.
Among them, mechanical drying and chemical drying are rarely used except for occasional auxiliary drying methods due to their serious shortcomings. The actual wood drying production process adopts the thermal drying method.
