Furnace gas drying chamber is a general term for various drying chambers with furnace gas as the heat source. According to the different heating methods, it can be divided into three types: furnace gas drying room, furnace gas indirect heating drying room and hot air drying room.
The so-called furnace gas should be combustion gas to be precise. The fuels used in foreign countries include fuel oil, natural gas, waste wood, etc., and domestic waste wood is mostly used as fuel.
The furnace gas generating device of a relatively complete furnace gas drying system is separated from the main body of the drying chamber. A good furnace gas generator has relatively complete fuel combustion, and is equipped with a furnace gas ash removal and temperature adjustment device, which is easy to operate, safe and reliable. Such as cyclone combustion furnace, gasification secondary combustion furnace, etc. The main body of the drying chamber can adopt any conventional drying chamber type with better performance, such as end-fan type, up-fan type or side-fan type.
The furnace gas drying chamber is called a direct-fired drying chamber abroad, without a heater, as long as the furnace gas that has been deashed (not necessary when using fuel oil and natural gas as fuel) and adjusted in temperature and humidity is sent into the drying chamber as a drying medium. . This method of drying indoor equipment has simple structure, less investment, high thermal efficiency, and low drying cost, but it is inconvenient to control the drying process, and the wood surface is polluted to a certain extent. In the past, it was limited to some small enterprises. With the development of new technologies such as vaporization combustion, the technology of producing clean and pollution-free furnace gas is becoming more and more mature. In addition, the difficulty of media humidity control is fundamentally solved by adding water spray devices. At present, the difficulty in the application of furnace gas drying chambers lies in the environmental protection issues of combustion and production of smoke.
The furnace gas indirect heating drying chamber is a drying chamber in which furnace gas is used as the heat carrier and humid air is used as the drying medium. The heat dissipation of the furnace gas can be equipped with a special heater, or the floor or wall flue of the drying room can be used. After dust removal, the hot furnace gas enters the special heater or the ground and wall flue to heat the indoor air, and then is drawn out by the outdoor induced draft fan and discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney. Other equipment and structures of the drying room are basically the same as those of the steam heating drying room.
The main body of the hot air drying chamber can be any type of room, and there is no need for a heater in the room, only the hot air generated by the hot blast stove is sent into the drying room to mix with the circulating air. The hot air is generally heated by circulation, that is, a part of the circulating air is drawn from the room, sent to the hot blast stove for heating, and then sent back to the drying room. The design of this drying room should pay attention to the even distribution of hot air in the room. Although this drying method does not require indoor heat dissipation equipment, the structure of the hot blast stove is complex, and compared with furnace gas heating and drying, the thermal efficiency is low, so it is not suitable for large-capacity drying rooms.
