Wood packaging and kiln loading
1. Sawn timber of different tree species and thicknesses should be packed separately. When the quantity of timber is less than one pack, it is allowed to pack tree species with similar drying characteristics and moisture content in one pack. When there are differences in the thickness of wood among the same tree species, it is necessary to ensure that the thickness of the same layer of wood is consistent. It is not allowed to place wood with different thicknesses on the same layer, and it is necessary to ensure that each wooden board is pressed down by the padding. When packaging, a 30mmx30mm thick spacer strip should be used.
2. Before installing the kiln, it is necessary to clean the hygiene inside the kiln and check whether the drainage pipes are blocked, and whether the two integrated detection modules are damaged. When loading the kiln, sawn timber of different lengths should be reasonably matched to ensure that the total length of the stack is consistent with the kiln length. The length, width, and height of the material pile should comply with the design regulations of the drying kiln. If the quantity of wood is insufficient, it can be evenly distributed on both sides and one less row can be loaded. The assembled stack of materials should be flush at the ends. If the length of the wood is uneven, the gap formed by the end material should be left inside the stack, and the ends and sides must be neat
3. After the thin plate is installed, a heavy object should be pressed on top of it to prevent the warping and deformation of the wood on the top layers of the stack.
4. After installing the kiln, first check if there are any abnormalities in the fan, and then add butter. After placing the EMC test piece and shaking down the wind deflector, close the kiln door. Before starting the equipment, conduct a thorough inspection of the external facilities of the kiln, such as the equipment circuit, flange plates connected to heating, heater valves, spray steam valves, drain valves, etc. If any abnormalities are found, record and handle them in a timely manner. After the equipment is checked to be normal, choose a suitable drying standard for drying. During the drying process, it is necessary to keep good drying records and observe the drying condition of the wood at any time. If there are any abnormalities, adjust the drying process in a timely manner to avoid the occurrence of drying defects.
