Otherwise, if problems occur during the drying process, it will seriously affect the production cycle and drying quality of wood drying, and also have an impact on the service life of the drying equipment. The equipment inspection before drying mainly includes the inspection of the various systems that make up the drying chamber.
In the drying room, a ventilation system is used to promote a forced directional circulation of airflow around the dried wood, allowing for reasonable heat exchange between the drying medium and the heater, as well as between the drying medium and the dried wood. This allows the moisture on the surface of the dried wood to evaporate more evenly at a suitable airflow rate, ensuring the uniformity and drying cycle of wood drying.
The inspection of the fan system mainly focuses on whether there are any abnormalities in the sound during the start and operation of the fan. If there is an abnormal sound when the fan is started or running, it is necessary to check if there is a problem with the motor or if there are loose parts on the fan impeller, wind ring, and fan frame. If there is a problem with the motor, it is best to replace it with a backup motor. If the fan impeller, wind ring, and wind frame are loose, they should be fixed in a timely manner. Regularly grease the fan motor for maintenance.
The use of frequency conversion devices to adjust the airflow circulation rate in the drying room needs to be determined based on the condition of the dried wood, which adds a new aspect to the wood drying process conditions. Therefore, under reasonable temperature and humidity conditions, adjusting and determining the airflow circulation rate during each stage of drying of dried wood, or adjusting and determining the temperature and humidity values of the drying medium under the premise of reasonably determining different airflow circulation rates during each stage of drying of dried wood, is of great practical significance for the research of wood drying technology and wood drying production.
