Equipment inspection before wood drying -Inspection of monitoring system
During the drying process of wood, it is necessary to conduct real-time monitoring of the temperature and humidity status of the drying medium in the drying room, changes in the actual moisture content of the wood, steam pressure inside the heater, and the operation of the electric motor, in order to execute the wood drying process conditions reasonably and ensure the quality and cycle of wood drying. The detection system mainly includes dry bulb temperature sensor, balanced moisture content sensor, wood moisture content sensor, as well as dry bulb temperature system display, balanced moisture content system display, and steam pressure gauge display. The most important thing is to ensure the accuracy of the dry bulb temperature and balanced moisture content detection device.
The sensors for dry bulb thermometers generally use thermal resistance Pt100 type sensors. Before drying, check if the connecting wires between him and the testing computer are secure. During the drying process, the temperature display is often incorrect due to the loose connection between the thermistor and the detection computer.
The balanced moisture content sensor is a metal frame. Because the data it detects is directly related to the actual dry bulb temperature of the environment, the metal frame and dry bulb thermometer are placed together and cannot be disassembled or separated at will. However, it should be noted that the sensor of the dry bulb thermometer should not come into contact with the metal frame, otherwise it may cause detection errors. Keep the metal frame clean and free of debris and dust, and ensure that the test paper is properly clamped. When placing moisture sensitive paper, do not touch the upper and lower surfaces with your fingers. Use your hands to grip the side of the paper and slowly place it in a metal frame. There is a baffle above the metal frame and dry bulb thermometer sensor to prevent condensation water from falling onto the moisture sensitive paper in the drying room. If condensation water falls on it, it will cause detection errors, cause misoperation of the control system, and affect the normal drying process of wood. In severe cases, it will cause drying defects in the wood.
