 drying kiln

Conventional drying kilns are generally composed of kiln body, kiln door (lifting door device), heating system, humidity control system, air circulation system, intake and exhaust system, detection system and control system.

  1. Kiln body
The kiln body of the drying kiln should not only meet the general architectural requirements such as firmness and durability, but also meet special requirements such as heat preservation, sealing and anti-corrosion. Our series of drying kilns include civil kiln body and metal kiln body. The civil kiln body is designed according to special requirements. The inner and outer wall panels of the metal kiln body are made of aluminum alloy plates, the thermal insulation material is made of centrifugal glass wool or rock wool, and the columns and trusses are made of special-shaped aluminum alloy profiles. Both the civil kiln body and the metal kiln body are well sealed, have sufficient thermal insulation performance, and can resist corrosion.

  2. Kiln door
There are three types of kiln doors: single door, double door and hanging door. When two or more conjoined kilns are built, it is usually a hanging door, and a door lifter is required when using a hanging door. The kiln door is surrounded by a special sealing ring with high temperature resistance, anti-aging and good elasticity.

  3. Heating system
The main body of the heating system is the heater. The quality of the heater is not only related to the life of the heater, but also to the heat transfer efficiency of the heater. The heater used by our company is a new type of composite integrally rolled finned tube heater. The fins have no wrinkles, small airflow resistance, high heat transfer efficiency, good corrosion resistance and long service life. The overall performance of the heater is much better than that of the domestically used wound tube or string tube heaters.

  4. Humidity control system
Although the humidity control system is simple, it is very important to ensure the drying quality of wood. Corrosion should be avoided as far as possible in the steam spray pipes of the humidity control system. When using steam heating. Atmospheric saturated steam is injected into the kiln; when high temperature water is used for heating, saturated steam or atomized water is injected into the kiln.
