INDO WOOD EXPO 2025
Indonesia is one of the largest exporters of forest products in Southeast Asia. As of August 2024, Indonesia's forestry exports amounted to US$8.22 billion. Of this, furniture and handicraft exports are expected to be around US$2.5 billion, making furniture exports a huge contributor to Indonesia's GDP.
However, all furniture and woodworking trade shows in Indonesia are currently held in the western region of Java, such as Jakarta. This also leads to East Java, another ideal place to hold furniture and woodworking trade shows, being easily overlooked, especially Surabaya, the capital of East Java Province, which is also the second largest city in Indonesia.
